Reading at Parkway Elementay!

Last week, Project Clean Tees had the opportunity to go to Parkway Elementary School and read to the kindergarten students. Mrs. Shirley Hendrix shouted out local authors from Tupelo, MS area. We also had the pleasure of having Mr. Xavier Moss and Mrs. Pam Hadley join us in reading to these students. Thank you to everyone involved in making this happen, we really enjoyed it.

A huge thank you to Mr. Allen Pegues and his son, Allen Pegues, for coming out and speaking to the boys. And thank you as well to Mrs. Shannon Daniels and Ms. MaKedra Ivy for speaking to the girls. Our young people love when they can talk "guy" stuff when the men come to speak, and demonstrate ways to tie neckties. Thank you Reggie Hendrix & Mr. Kenneth Wheeler. Project Clean Tees, distributing tshirts to the Amory Community. We were here at Pastor Lesley Mabry's Community center doing our part of giving back. We are grateful to have the ability to help in such instances as this. Continue to keep Amory in your prayers, #AmoryStrong.

Girls & Tiaras, Guys & Ties

What a way to end our last school of the year! PCT took 2 mentorship programs to Okolona Middle School. The first, "Girls & Tiaras". Dr. Nickeda Shelton took lead in asking the young ladies how do they want people to see them? Whew! They had strong, resilient, intelligent answers... 6th, 7th, & 8th graders! We were so excited with the extended welcoming they gave us. Reggie Hendrix & DeVonte' Thomas had their mentorship, "Guys & Ties", with the 6th, 7th, & 8th graders before school let out. They talked about the importance of showing up as young men, and also how to stay safe over the summer. Yes! They are absolutely ready. Thank you Okolona Middle School for giving Project Clean Tees this opportunity. Project Clean Tees also dropped off a box of tshirts for those who may be in need. See you next school year!

Our First Project

Project Clean Tees, partnered with Katina Davis (Wear It Well), & Letisha Jackson (Jackson Insurance Group) at Plantersville Middle School today for our first of many, Guys & Ties, Girls & Pearls Empowermen Program. Ladies spike to the young ladies about empowering themselves, being positive, and demonstrating leadership! The talk sessions were hopeful. Our day was a success! We also left each young lady with a pearl necklace and hugs! They are worth saving, and Project Clean Tees intend to reach as many children as we possibly can. It's our mission. New hoodies were also donated.
